  • When I opened the door, I found a cat sleeping there. → Opening the door, I found a cat sleeping there.(ドアを開けると、猫がそこで眠っているのが見えた。)
  • She cooked dinner singing her favorite song.(彼女は好きな歌を歌いながら夕食を作った。)

  • Painted in bright colors, the wall looks cheerful.(明るい色で塗られているので、その壁は楽しげに見える。)
  • Seen from the sky, the island looks like a bird.(空から見ると、その島は鳥のように見える。)

  • Having eaten lunch, we started working again.(昼食を食べ終えてから、私たちはまた働き始めた。)
  • Having no umbrella, I got wet in the rain.(傘がなかったので、私は雨にぬれた。)

  • Generally speaking, Japanese people work hard.(一般的に言えば、日本人はよく働く。)
